In 2004 I begun a Ph.D. in Applied Sociology and Research Methodology (XX cycle, University of Milan-Bicocca) and wrote a thesis on "Being Young and Becoming Parents. Changes in the Transition to Adulthood and "New Parenthood". From 2008 to 2012 I was post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Sociology and Social Research, University of Milan-Bicocca.
In these same years I worked as junior and then senior researcher in European Framework Programmes like “UP2YOUTH – Youth Actor of Social Change” and FAMILYPLATFORM under the scientific supervision on prof. In 2012 I was awarded with the “Endeavour Research Fellowship” (Australian Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations), and conducted research on media representations of gender relations in parenting practices in Sydney.
The themes that characterize my research relate to areas of Sociology of Culture, with a particular focus on Social Theory of Gender, Media, Youth Condition and Social Movements.
